The library is run and staffed by volunteers. Thanks to all who are currently involved.

New volunteers are always welcomed and we are planning to develop more roles within the library community so whether you have many hours a month to spare or perhaps just a couple please get in touch if you would like to be involved. There are many benefits to volunteering such as skills development, new friendships and pride in doing something wonderful for the community. Don’t be put off if you feel your skills aren’t up to it- we will provide plenty of training and support and all the team are new learners too!

As well as the obvious volunteer roles such as customer service and maintaining the books offer, we also need volunteers for such things as keeping the gardens tidy, perhaps a bit of DIY or services maintenance, serving refreshments or making homemade cakes. So think outside the box and if you think you have some skills that might be required every now and again please get in touch!
